Donnelly painting Acquired

I was contacted by Paul Adshead whose father had an oil on board painting of Hong Kong at night painted by Donnelly circa 1920. He wanted to sell it and Paul Jr kindly thought that he should offer it to me. I was quick to say yes.Once received I took it to a professional restorer who cleaned it and repaired some damage and it was then reframed. I am delighted to have it in my collection and continue to look for more originals.
