My Grandfather Captain Stephen Polkinhorn worked for the Taku Tug & Lighter Co Ltd, lived in a house called Websters Folly, Taku.
I have 3 of Ivon A Donnelly's books. One 'The China Coast" is autographed by him.
Chinese Junks and other native craft, and a small red book Taku Tug & Lighter co Ltd, Tientsin.

I have an original oil by Ivon A Donnelly which shows HMS Iron Duke and HMS Marlborough leading the First Battle Squadron to sea. In need of a bit of restoration - water damage by the look of it!

Hi

I have a watercolour by Ivon A Donnelly dated 28.6.20. The location given is "CHUNGCHAU" but it's not Chung Chau Island off Hong Kong. Let me know if you want a photograph of the picture for your blog. I would be grateful for your help in identifying the location.
